In 2009, we transitioned into distribution after becoming the US agent for Rohloff, a German maker of top quality internally geared hubs. Job Description:
The independent sales representative for Cycle Monkey will be responsible for all wholesale sales activities in the assigned territory. This includes, but is not limited to: sell in, sell through, staff education, merchandising, order collection, account maintenance, account prospecting, and primary contact for retail stakeholders. We are looking for someone that lives the brand and can share that passion with wholesale partners to insure success with our brands. Strong business acumen is the cornerstone to helping our retailers continue to grow in an ever changing landscape. A trusted partner is key.
Responsibilities:
= Responsible for maintaining sales samples
= Educate staff on brand vision, technologies and products
= Frequent account visits with high emphasis on merchandising and refill
= Actively participate in local industry-related events
= Identify, coordinate and attend regional and national tradeshows and Event Demo’s as identified and approved by the National Sales Manager
= Maintain contact with all clients in the territory to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction
= Provide feedback from the field on marketplace and competitive landscape
= Develop strong professional relationships with retail store owners/buyers and management
= Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
= Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments within Cycle Monkey
Requirements
= Strong knowledge of the cycling Industry
= Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
= Computer/tablet and smart phone with access to internet
= Strong understanding of retailer/consumer/market dynamics and requirements
= Proven ability to set and achieve goals and objectives
