Position Overview

The Repair Technician is responsible for performing a variety of technical repairs on outdoor gear, apparel, and equipment. This includes sewing, patching, zipper replacement, hardware installation, and quality checks. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a production-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on apparel and gear including stitching, patching, hemming, and structural reinforcement.

  • Replace and install zippers, sliders, pulls, and other hardware.

  • Operate industrial sewing machines and other tools safely and efficiently.

  • Review work orders for accuracy and ensure repairs meet company quality standards.

  • Track daily production through internal systems (points, units, or work orders).

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Communicate any issues with repairs, materials, or order clarity to the leadership team.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production goals.


Qualifications

  • Experience in sewing, tailoring, alterations, garment repair, or gear repair preferred.

  • Ability to operate industrial sewing machines or willingness to learn.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot repair challenges.

  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
