Job Description & Requirements

Our ideal candidate is an avid hunter with considerable waterfowl hunting experience and someone who has successfully managed a sales territory or sales team in the hunting industry. They will be responsible for building strong relationships with retail buyers, store managers and merchandisers and to manage (and grow) an existing sales team across the US and beyond. They will work closely with the product development team and marketing team to find new opportunities to expand our product line and grow our brand.  Additionally, as a community marketer they will attend trade shows, manage and grow our ambassador team, broaden our outfitter network and collaborate with our industry partners on special marketing opportunities. This person will report directly to our Founder and President, Matthew Cagle. This position can be managed remotely but will require considerable travel to include hunting trips, trade shows, sales meetings and semi-regular trips to our office in Eastern North Carolina.

Job Duties:

·        * Developing and forecasting annual sales goals for the company and organizing into regions and territories; implement sales strategy to ensure sales goals are met in each region.

·         * Developing sales forecasts and working with our supply chain team.

·         * Creating and implementing national sales programs, promotions and merchandizing plans for distributor, big box, buying groups and smaller independent accounts.

·         * Managing and growing existing sales force and keeping them highly engaged in Rig’Em Right sales.

·        *  Training and developing sales force in product knowledge and sales techniques.

·         * Expand the Rig’Em Right brand into new territories and countries.

·         * Assist with product development, product improvements and overall product-line refinement.

·         * Manage and grow our ambassador team, outfitter network and collaborate with industry partners.

·         * Attend shows and store events and get to know the people in the industry.
