PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsible for leading and executing the Company's social media strategy, and collaborating with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to accomplish the business objectives across social media platforms for the LaCrosse and Danner brands.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Play a key role in the evolution of our social media strategy.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to create social media plans that support seasonal marketing campaigns and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to create social media marketing plan and editorial calendar, and brief content.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with influencers and social media content creators.
  • Support influencer content activations - both paid and organic opportunities.
  • Provide editorial support at brand events and activations.
  • Brief creative team to support their work with copywriters, video / photo editors and designers to create content that meets our requirements and is consistent with our brand guidelines.
  • Generate, edit, and publish all social media content.
  • Assist with crisis management and negative social communications.
  • Maintain brand social media pages and profiles.
  • Use social media tools to automate publishing social content.
  • Moderate comments and user generated content through dialog and messaging.
  • Provide guidance to customer service team in order to ensure all responses on social platforms properly reflect our brands.
  • Analyze reports on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness related to business objectives, and use this information to positively affect future outcomes.

 

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as key member of LaCrosse Footwear Inc. marketing team - participates in team meetings and planning; supports budget planning and tracking; shares public relations plans and results among departments.
  • Takes on other duties as needed.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work in a team environment with great collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be willing to conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values
  • Must be detail oriented with passion for all things digital
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing; copywriting experience preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed for social coverage and content opportunities
  • Must be dependable and team oriented
  • Remote work considered for qualified candidates



QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in digital marketing and social media.
  • Strong experience with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics.
  • Creative eye and experience working with digital design.
  • Experience providing critique to creative work.
  • Expertise with social media publishing platforms a plus.
