Job Description & Requirements

Acadia National Park’s highest-volume outfitter offering biking and kayaking is looking for a seasonal bike shop manager. May 1 to November 1, housing available below market rate. Overseeing daily bike shop operations includes: bicycle repairs, assisting customers with rental check-out and check-in, walk-in customer repairs, bicycle tour preparation and logistics, training other employees, maintaining a safe and tuned fleet of bicycles. Previous shop manager is still on staff to support and assist with learning the role. Pay based on experience. Will send the right candidate to a reputable bicycle school for proper training. Prior bike shop and/or customer service experience encouraged.
