Sales Associate

Cascades Outdoor Store in Winthrop WA is looking for the exceptional & dependable Sales Associate to join our team

We are looking for a skilled, experienced & awesome individual!  Working at Cascades Outdoor Store means working as part of an exceptional team who provide outstanding service to our customers and contribute to a work culture, we love to get people outdoors!

You’ll need to be motivated, supportive, and extremely detail oriented - and work well with a team of friendly and experienced salespeople

Position: Sales Associate

Employment Type: Full-time or Part time, Year-round

Salary Range: $20/hr + DOE

Qualifications:

·        A background in the XC skiing and/or retail sales is preferred.

·        Prior XC ski fitting knowledge is a huge plus, but not required.

·        Must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not sponsor H1-B visas.

·        Minimum of High School Diploma, Associate degree or above preferred.

·        This job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time.

·        Full-time is 32-40 hours per week, a varied schedule includes weekends/holidays (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas).

 

Summary of Duties:

·        Customer service and customer care is always first and foremost on the list of priorities!

·        Identify customer’s needs and ability to ensure they are given all relevant information.

·        Assist customers with selecting the correct gear.

·        Proficiency in rental reservation policies and procedures.

·        Responsible for retail floor presentation: attractiveness, cleanliness, organization, & receiving/tagging product

·        Train & learn everyday & work to enhances knowledge through other staff and training resources
