This position is perfect for a fishing enthusiast and or someone who has knowledge of fishing/tackle.

 

POSITION PURPOSE

The Factory Store Supervisor’s role is to run the store successfully. Working on the shop floor, they are in constant contact with their customers and staff. They are responsible for ensuring that their staff gives great customer service as well as monitoring the financial performance of the store.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

=       Ensure all phone orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner

=       Order fulfillment on all online and website orders, all orders a packed and shipped in a timely manner and all shipping information is relied to the consumer.

=       Warranty repairs are completed in a timely manner, warranty information is logged and warranty claims are tracked

=       Customer issues, problems or concerns are resolved quickly and efficiently

=       Cataloged items are stocked and merchandised effectively

=       Ordering procedures are being followed to control inventory

=       The sales floor is merchandised, clean, signed and well organized

=       All sample orders are processed on time and as needed

=       There is proper accounting and integrity of all sales and repair transactions

=       Maintaining proper store inventory levels and merchandise assortment by season

=       Implementing seasonal changes for product displays

=       Inventory accuracy

=       Communicating warranty claim information to Product Managers

=       Preparing daily and monthly sales records and reports

=       Recommending department procedures and policy changes

=       Evaluating and recommending orders for Logo merchandise

=       Inventory of logo merchandise

=       Evaluating and working with new vendors as needed for logo’d merchandise

=       Answering or delegating to Factory Store staff, inquiries from Eagle Claw information phone line and website Info address. Seek assistance from Product Mangers or other company employees as needed

=       Recommending consumer support materials needed, i.e., product information and proper warranty information

=       Improving efficiencies and overall store operations as needed.

Other Duties

=       Involved with planning of all marketing and sales events as it pertains to product needs and shipments

=       Assist and/or travel to corporate events as needed.

=       Assist in ordering requested marketing items as needed to support Pro Staff or events.

=       Coordinates with Marketing on show materials and quantities to insure on time shipments.

=       Performs other tasks as needed or assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years previous retail experience required.
• Supervisory experience required, retail supervisory preferred.

=       Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people in a professional manner, both orally and through written communication required

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel required
• Must have outgoing and friendly personality
• Must be able to work unsupervised and accomplish a variety of tasks on time.
• Familiarity with Company products preferred
• Prefer college education in sales or marketing or equivalent working experience.
• Ability to change daily priorities as new issues arise
• Ability to convey ideas and plans in detail with a widely diverse group of people.
• Ability to motivate others.
