The Position: Regional Marketing Manager /Fish Division

Regional Marketing Manager – Fish Division

 

Job Purpose:

Selected candidate will work to implement comprehensive regional marketing plans for three premium fishing brands. The Manager will work in close conjunction with marketing, product development, sales and service teams to activate Shimano’s regional marketing efforts meeting the company’s short and long-term goals. This position will require extensive travel that includes consumer shows, trade shows, tournaments, retail events and consumer events.

Requirements:

·         B.A./B.S. in Marketing or similar discipline preferred

·         5+ years marketing experience

·         3+ years of field marketing experience required

·         3+ years of promotional marketing logistics experience

·         Experience managing and negotiating agreements with multiple vendors and agencies

·         Experience writing request for proposals (RFP)

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Extensive travel is required

·         Marketing budget planning and management experience

·         Superb organizational and time management skills - a self starter who meets deadlines and adheres to schedules

·         Customer service oriented with great interpersonal skills

·         Must have an understanding of recreational fishing

·         Individual will be reliable and conscientious

·         Must be highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
